The RMIT University, Australia, invites applications for scholarship to Certificate, diploma or degree students.

Scholarship award:

This scholarship provides $5,000 for one year.

Tenure:

3 years

Eligibility

– To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
– be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder or an international student
– be enrolling full-time in a certificate IV, diploma or degree program at RMIT in semester 1 and 2, 2020
– have at least one year of full-time study in your program left to complete
– If you did not graduate from the Lonsdale Institute, It encourage you to still apply however you must be able to demonstrate both financial and educational disadvantage to be considered:
* demonstrate financial disadvantage such as: receiving a Government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card
* demonstrate educational disadvantage such as:
* having a long term medical or disability which impacts your study
* have previously/are currently living in foster/kinship care or are a ward of the state
* experiencing difficult family/social circumstances
* have/will be relocating from interstate or rural/regional Victoria to study at RMIT
* were born overseas, are from a non-English speaking background and recently migrated to Australia
are a current or former refugee
* completed your secondary education at a School Network Access Program school
– Preference will be given to students who graduated from the Lonsdale Institute.
