School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), Delhi invites applications for admissions to Masters & PhD Course for the academic year 2016- 17.

Masters & PhD Course is conducted by School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), Delhi

Courses Offered:

PhD Programs (Full Time & Part Time)
The admission forms of PhD Programs are available throughout the year on the website of the School but the candidate shall be admitted twice in a year i.e. in August & January to coincide with commencement of autumn and winter semester respectively

Master’s Programs in (2 years, Full-Time)
1) Architectural Conservation
2) Urban Design
3) Design (Industrial Design)
4) Planning with Specialization in: (a) Environmental Planning, (b) Housing, (c) Regional Planning, (d) Transport Planning, (e) Urban Planning
5) Landscape Architecture
6) Building Engineering & Management

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

Architectural Conservation & Urban Design
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Planning from a recognized university or equivalent

Environmental Planning
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, or Environmental Engineering or Master’s Degree in Geography or Economics or Sociology or Environmental Science or Environmental Management of a recognized university or equivalent

Regional Planning & Urban Planning
=> Bachelor’s Degree in planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural or Civil Engieering or Architectural Engineering or MA in Geography or Economics or Sociology from a recognized university or equivalent

Housing
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering or Municipal Engineering or Building Engineering or MA in Sociology or Economics from a recognized university or equivalent

Transport Planning
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Architectural or Civil Engineering or Architectural Engieering from a recognized University or equivalent or Master’s Degree in Statistics / Operational Research/Economics from a recognized university or equivalent

Landscape Architecture
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Planning or Master’s Degree in Planning or Equivalent Post-Graduate diploma of a recognized university / institution or certificate of completion or Pre-Landscape Architecture Course of the SPA, New Delhi

Building Engineering and Management
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering or Architecture or Architectural Engineering or Building Science or Five Years Diploma in Construction Technology or equivalent from a recognized university / institution established by an Act of parliament or State Legislature

Design (Industrial Design)
=> Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture of a recognized university or equivalent or Bachelor’s Design in Engineering/Design/Fine Arts of a recognized university or equivalent with valid CEED score (essential non-architectural candidates) from approved streams Marks Candidates with atleast 55% marks in aggregate at the qualifying Examination, 50% aggregate marks in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates

Application Procedure:

Short listed/eligible candidates shall be notified on the School’s website and must bring a print out of online filled application along with original certificates & a self-attested photocopies and project work/portfolio etc. at the time of Test/Interview
The School reserves the right to reject/cancel any application without assigning any reason to the applicant

Fee Details:

Application fee for PG Program is Rs.1500/- and can be paid electronically only

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 11th March 2016
• Date of Test /Interview (PG Courses): 21st, 22nd & 23rd March 2016
• Display of Selection List: 14th April 2016
• Registration in Respective Departments: 28th July 2016
• Orientation: 29th July 2016
• Start of Classes: 01st August 2016
