Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Sikkim invites applications for admissions to BCA, MCA Program for the academic year 2016- 17.

BCA, MCA Program is conducted by Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Sikkim.

Courses Offered:

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
Master of Computer Application (MCA)

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
BCA Program:
=> Candidate should have passed in 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in any stream

MCA Program:
=> Candidate should have bachelor's degree in any discipline with Maths/Statistics in 10+2 with 50% marks

=> Downloaded from the website www.manipal.edu then you are supposed to send a Demand Draft of Rs.1350/- (Rs 600/- for prospectus + Rs.750/- for entrance exam fee) along with the filled application form to the chairman admissions (technical campus)

=> If collected from the bank then you are supposed to send a DD of Rs.750/- (entrance exam fee) along with the filled application form to the chairman admissions (technical campus)

Fee Details:

Application Fee is Rs.1350/- (Rs 600/- for prospectus + Rs.750/- for entrance exam fee)

BCA, MCA Program Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 10th August 2016 (Wednesday)
• Date of Entrance Test for BCA Program: 27th June and 04th August 2016
• Date of Entrance Test for MCA Program: 25th July and 12th August 2016
• Commencement of First Semester (BCA & MCA): 16th August 2016

Selection Process:

Selection to BCA and MCA program is based on the entrance test by SMU at SBAS/SMIT
