Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Sanstha was established in the year 1991 under patronage of ShriOmprakashji Chachda with the objective of bringing intellectual awakening and all round development of the people. Since then number of institutions have come up under its aegis in the urban and rural areas of Yavatmal district. Apart from the conventional courses the society has started the number of professional,vocational and job oriented courses. The society thus is not adding to the existing fund of knowledge but also meeting the special needs of younger generation. Under the leadership of Shri Omprakashji Chachda, a man of vision, foresight and dynamism, society has established various institutions within a very short span of time, which has achieved the highest pinnacle of academic glory.
In year 1992, the society has started with Industrial Training Centers at Wani and Maregaon town. These were the only unaided Industrial Training Centers in the Yavatmal district. In 1993, society launches Institute of Pharmacy at Maregaon that offers diploma course in pharmacy. Having realized increasing need and demand for a school, we had started Rajrishi Shahu Maharaj Hindi Vidyalaya and Wani Public School both at Wani in 2001 and 2002 respectively. In the year 2006, Wani Public School Junior College in commerce and science stream was started, which is the only one unaided junior college of its time in Yavatmal district that provides commerce education through English medium.
It is our aim to impart quality education and training to our students with a view to equip them for better professional and personal life. We hope you will be one of those fortunate students who get admission to our institutes.
