It is popularly known as BIEAP. The board came into existence to regulate and supervise the intermediate education in the state of AP. Not only this, but the board also provides syllabus and textbooks to the students for classes 11 and 12. Every year, the AP board conducts intermediate examinations in the month of February\/ March.
