After bifurcation of the erstwhile Dharwad District newly formed Gadag District has been sanctioned with Navodaya Vidyalaya by Samiti. The District Administration has sanctioned 33 acres land near Korlahalli Village Tq. Mundargi and provided temporary accommodation at J.T. Matt Premises, Mundargi. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi has entrusted the construction of buildings Phase-A work to the CPWD Agency. Phase B construction has been allotted to HSCL Agency, Bangalore. Since establishment, the Vidyalaya has developed into an ideal educational institution actualizing the goals and objectives of Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme. The academic environment vibrating with a creative, innovative and Scholastic atmosphere has enriched the pace of the growth of the institution. The Vidyalaya is functioning in permanent site. And with the help of the Hon’ble MP, Hon’ble Incharge Minister of the District, Hon’ble. MLA, Deputy Commissioner & Chairman (VMC), ZP President, ZP CEO & all local Officials, the school is in good progress. At present our school is full-fledged school and our student strength is 471.
