JNV Churachandpur was fist established in the temporary site in the year 1988, later in the year 1998 it was shifted to the present permanent site at Tuinom Khopi Village, Churachandpur, Manipur.n 1985, the Government of India has decided to set up co-educational institutions known as Model Schools, one in each district, essentially to provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from rural areas.
