WBMDFC 2022 Scholarship Types, Eligibility, Benefits, Application Process, And Institutions.

A similar organization was formed in West Bengal in 1996; its name was West Bengal Minority Development & Finance Corporation (Aikyashree) was created in West Bengal under Act-15 of West Bengal 1995 i.e. Act-1995. The main objective of the WBMDFC scheme was that the religious minorities living in West Bengal could get financial upliftment, their economic upliftment could be done. Under this corporation, the names of minority communities like Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, etc. are included. This means that under the West Bengal Minority Development & Finance Corporation Act 1995, this corporation was raised in 1996 for the economic upliftment of religious minority communities like Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis, etc.

There are 5 types of WBMDFC scholarship.in Application and this is applied online is as government schemes.

  • Pre Metric Scholarship (For Class 1 To Class 10th),
  • Post Metric Scholarship (For Class 11th To Ph.D.),
  • Merit Cum Means Scholarship (For Pursuing Technical & Professional courses ),
  • Talent Support Stipend,
  • Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship is included.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Under this scheme, scholarship will be given to the students who cannot afford their education.
  • Under this scheme, West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation will save the students from taking any kind of education loan.
  • Under this scheme, this corporation tries to improve the literacy ratio in West Bengal.
  • If the student is able to study properly in any way, then he will advance the economy of the country and will take him towards development.
  • This will help in creating new employment opportunities.
  • Poor parents will not need to worry about money for their children’s education and will also encourage their children to send them to school.
  • This will reduce the dropout rate of students in West Bengal.

Eligibility

1 – For Pre Metric and For Post Matric.

  • The applicant needs to be a native resident of WB.
  • The applicant must be studying in any educational institution, council or university or school recognized by the state and central government.
  • It is necessary to have 50% marks in the last last class or its equivalent grade.
  • 2,00,000 should be the highest amount of income of the family of applicant, and should not exceed from it.
  • The person should be from minority communities such as Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, Parsi or Christian.
  • Students residing in West Bengal will not be eligible for the scholarship if they study in an educational institution outside West Bengal.

2 – For Merit cum Means Scholarship.

  • The student applying must be a native of West Bengal.
  • The applicant should have got admission in any kind of technical or whatever course.
  • The applicants need to hold at least 50% in their examination of higher secondary.
  • 2,50,000 should be the highest amount of income of the family of applicant, and should not exceed from it.
  • The person must be a member of the Minority Community of West Bengal.
  • Students, who are residents of West Bengal but are pursuing education in an educational institution outside West Bengal, will be given scholarship only if they are pursuing education in an educational institution affiliated to the Minorities Development and Finance Corporation of West Bengal.

3 – Talent Support Stipends.

  • The applicant needs to be a native resident of WB.
  • The applicant should have got admission in any kind of technical or whatever course.
  • The applicants need to hold at least 50% in their examination of higher secondary.
  • 2,50,000 should be the highest amount of income of the family of applicant, and should not exceed from it
  • It is mandatory for the applicant to be a member of the Minority Community of West Bengal.
  • The student who is a resident of West Bengal but is pursuing education in an educational institution outside West Bengal, will be given scholarship only if I am pursuing education in an educational institution which is affiliated to the Minorities Development and Finance Corporation of West Bengal.

4 – S.V.M.M.C.(Swami Vivekananda Scholarship).

  • The student applying under this scheme must be a student of class 11-12.
  • The student should be a graduate in engineering or medical or technical courses.
  • Merit will be the base of sanctioning of the Scholarship to the deserving students.
  • 2,50,000 should be the highest amount of income of the family of applicant, and should not exceed from it

How to Apply

The application process for the scholarship under the WBMDFC Scholarship Scheme in 2022 will be as follows-

  • First of all, you have to go to the official website of West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation http://wbmdfcscholarship.org/.
  • After this, its home page will open in front of you, where you will have to click on the link named “Student Area”.
  • After this, the student panel will open and there you have to click on the link named “Fresh Registration 2021-2022”.
  • After that, I will redirect you to a new window where you have to select your district.
  • Later, you will have to give information about the district in which your institute is located and select that district.
  • After selecting your problem popup window will open in which confirmation will be tied to you. You have to confirm and move on.
  • Now after this you will be redirected to a new page where you have to give all your information.
  • In this you have to select one of your block and scribe parties, domicile district, student’s name, student’s father’s name, student’s mother’s name, student’s gender, religion, birth date, mobile number, savings bank account number, Bank IFSC Code, etc., you have to enter the captcha.
  • Submit button should be clicked after that for the next procedure.
  • After this, you will have the column of eligibility of your scheme, which column you have to fill completely.
  • Kindly press the submit link again.

After this, a User ID will be generated in front of you, and you will be able to log in to your panel with the help of a User ID and Password.

But before that, you have to verify all the filled details, and finally click on submit button. You have to take a printout of the information about the application that will come in front of you.

After this, you have to submit your bank account number and IFSC code along with a photocopy of the passbook to your respective educational institution.

Documents required applying for WBMDFC Scholarships 2022

You need the following types of documents to apply for West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation-

  • The applicants need to show the Income of Certificate of their family,
  • Applicants need to carry Passport Size Photographs in number of 2,
  • Applicants need to hold Aadhar Card for their application,
  • Date Of Birth Certificate will be important as Domicile Certificate and applicant will need the both,
  • Previous Qualifying Mark Sheet Copy,
  • Applicants need to provide the suitable information of their (SBA) Savings Bank Account.
