VNIT Nagpur announces PhD Program under MPCB Fellowship July
Scholarship Details
The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), with a view to promoting academic pursuit and research in the area of environmental technologies and pollution control, has provided financial assistance to VNIT . It is proposed to offer one Ph.D fellowship in the academic year to carry out research in the field of Environmental Engineering & Sciences.
The interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below may apply in the prescribed format alongwith photocopies of certificates so as to reach Director VNIT, Nagpur- 440 010 on or before 7th August . Please write “Application for admission to Ph.D. under
MPCB fellowship” on the top of Envelope.
Eligibility
=> BE/ B. Tech in Civil /Chemical Engineering with M. Tech / M. E. in Environmental Engineering in first division or equivalent with GATE qualification in the past. OR
=> M. Sc. in Environmental Science in 1st division or equivalent with GATE/NET qualification in the past.
Scholarship Amount
=> Candidate possessing M. Tech/ M. E (Environmental Engineering) with valid GATE qualification shall receive fellowship @ Rs. 25, 000/- per month for 1st / 2nd year and Rs. 28, 000/- for 3rd year/ 4th year
=> Candidate possessing M. Sc. (Environmental Science ) with valid GATE/ NET qualification in the past shall receive fellowship @ Rs. 25, 000/- per month for maximum duration of four years.
