The Sir Ratan Tata Post-doctoral Fellowship will be for a period of eight months during the 2016-17 academic years and will be based at the LSE India Observatory.
London School of Economics invites applications from fellows to themes of Economy and Society in South Asia with focus on growth and inclusion, climate change and environmental sustainability, social and human secruity, and so on.
The Fellow will be expected to engage in social science research broadly on the themes of Economy and Society in South Asia with a particular focus on the following themes:
-Growth and inclusion
-Climate change and environmental sustainability
-Social and human security
-Population and development
-Governance and democracy
Candidates must have completed at PhD. Researching in the field of Social targetting South Asia
Note: This fellowship is not for students of any degree or diploma neither is it intended for senior academics.
Sir Ratan Tata Post-doctoral Fellowship is well be granted for 8 months in the academic year of with a Monthly allowance of up to £1,500 (Approx. Rs.141500) assistance will also be provided towards the cost of travel and research materials.
