The Central Institute of Indian Languages has established seven Regional Language Centres (see Table) which have, over the years offered language training programmes for School Teachers.

Eligibility

Candidates applying for scholarships for obtaining a Ph.D degree should have at least a first class or high second-class post graduation degree in Indian languages or linguistics.Candidates applying for scholarships should not be more than 30 years of age
