Social Welfare Commissionerate Office, Maharashtra State, Pune under the government of Maharashtra invites applications from Scheduled Caste students of Maharashtra for Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship, Maharashtra 2017-18. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial support to 100 Scheduled Caste students studying higher education in the country to gain essential knowledge and skill to face the competition.

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant-

1. Must belong to Scheduled Caste having a domicile in Maharashtra.
2. Family annual income should not exceed INR 4.50 Lacs.
3. Can also receive a scholarship if studying in institutes like IIT where admissions are taken through entrance examinations.

Note: The application can be done manually by filling the form and submitting it to Social Welfare Commissionerate office.
