The Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department, Bihar invites applications for Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students 2019-20 from students of Class 11 to post-graduation.The applicants must belong to Bihar and must be studying in a recognized University/Institution are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Important Dates
Start Application From : – February 2020
Last Date of Application : – March 2020
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must –
- Be a domicile of Bihar.
- Belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
- Have passed last qualifying examination.
- Have annual family income not more than INR 250000 (for SC/ST candidates) and INR 100000 (for OBC candidates).
- Not be in receipt of any other scholarship in an academic year.
Note: The applicant must be studying in only one institution within an academic session.
How to Apply
In order to apply, follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the National Scholarship Portal.
Step 2: Click on New User/Register.
Step 3: Read the guidelines properly.
Step 4:Continue to register.
Step 5: Once registered, take note of student application ID and continue to apply.
Step 6: The applicants will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. Confirm the OTP.
Step 7: Change the password.
Step 8: Login here to complete the application process.
Step 9: Upload necessary documents.
Step 10: Finally submit the application form.
