India’s prestigious power producer is the National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC). This particular corporation is popularly known for providing 35 Scholarships to meritorious students who belongs to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Challenged categories for pursuing full time degree course in the field of Engineering in a recognized University, college and institute. This particular scholarship is largely admissible only from the Second year till the final year.

Eligibility
The applicants must be a bonafide student of an institute of Rajasthan, Delhi, J & K, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab. The applicants shouldn’t be in receipt of any kind of assistance or financial aid from any other source such as central/state government, trust, corporation and whatsoever. The applicants must have cleared successfully their first year examination of full time 3 years diploma in Engg in the disciplines of Electronic/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil / Mechanical and be relatively meritorious among the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Challenged candidates.
The applicants should be below the age of 40 years as per the current academic year.
How to Apply
Interested candidates may send their Application Form through the head of the Institute/College in the format given in the official advertisement. Duly filled form need to send at the following address: AGM(HR), NTPC Limited, Eastern region-I Headquarters, 2nd floor, LNJP Bhawan, Dak Bunglow Chowk, Patna-800001.
Application form must include attested copy of Caste Certificate, Proof of Date of Birth, Academic Qualification and Mark sheets of Examination passed.
