Applications are invited for ‘NHPC Fellowship Scheme for Assam for Students of Assam domicile only. The scholarship will be awarded strictly on merit cum income basis subject to receipt of duly filled Application Form along with relevant supporting documents

   Number of Scholarships: 10
   Scholarship Amount: Rs.10000/-
   Qualifying Exam: B.E., B. Tech.), B.Sc., B. Des, M. Sc. Etc. which has been considered during enrollment for Masters Course in said Institute(s)
2. Diploma in Engineering (4 years)
   Number of Scholarships: 30
   Scholarship Amount: Rs.4000/-
   Qualifying Exam: 12th Standard with 50% marks
3. MBBS (5 years)
   Number of Scholarships: 30
   Scholarship Amount: Rs.4000/-
   Qualifying Exam: 12th Standard with 50% marks
4. MBA (2 years)
   Number of Scholarships: 20
   Scholarship Amount: Rs.4000/-
   Qualifying Exam: Graduation with 50% marks
5. Master in Geology/ Geophysics (2 years)
   Number of Scholarships: 10

Eligibility

Students perusing for full time/regular courses (not correspondence/ distance/ online mode) in Schools/ colleges/ university/ Institution recognized by AICTE/ State Education Board/ State Technical Education Boards/ICSE/ISE/ CBSE are eligible to apply
Overall grade point average (OGPA/ CGPA scale of grading system) shall be equivalent to 50% marks
Gross Annual income of the family of the candidate from all sources during a financial year should not be more than Rs.2.0 lakhs. However, in case of non-availability of students within the stipulated income ceiling, the income ceiling may be relaxed up to Rs 4.0 Lakhs

How to Apply

The candidate fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may submit their application form in the prescribed “Application Format” which can be downloaded from NHPC’s website www.nhpcindia.com
Complete application with all the supporting documents as mentioned in the application form duly certified and verified by their Head/Principal/Head of the Institute/Dean of the Institute/College/University should reach the designated office of NHPC as per the details given in the application format
Duly competed application form along with required documents, in a sealed envelope, should be sent by Speed Post or Registered Post only at the address “To, Head of Project, Subansiri Lower H.E. Project (2000MW), NHPC Ltd, P.O. Gerukamukh, District: Dhemaji, Assam-787035”
