The National Overseas Scholarships in Science from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs is awarded with respect to the following fields of study:
- Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering
- Industrial Environmental Engineering
- Nanotechnology
- Marine Engineering
- Petrochemical Engineering
- Plastic Technology
- Cryogenic Engineering
Important Dates
Eligibility
- Candidates should be below 35 years of age
- For post doctoral scholarships, candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in post graduation and Ph.d. Candidates should also have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in the related field of study
- For Ph.D. scholarships candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in post graduation. Candidates should also have a minimum of 2 years teaching or research or professional experience or M.Phil in the relevant field of study
- For post graduation scholarships candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in graduation and should have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the relevant field.
- The total monthly income of candidates / parents / guardians should not be more than Rs.18,000/-. Necessary documentary proof in this regard should be furnished.
