- Children of Commercial Drivers (LMV/HMV): This includes children of drivers of Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).
- Mechanics: Children of mechanics working in the automotive industry.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Children from the EWS category, which includes families with limited financial resources.
Muskaan Scholarship Program
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Muskaan Scholarship Program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Class: The scholarship is available for students in Classes 9 to 12.
- Region: The program is open to students from the southern, eastern, and north-eastern states of India.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship provides a grant of up to INR 12,000 per year to support the educational expenses of the selected students.
Application Process
To apply for the Muskaan Scholarship, students need to submit the following documents:
- Stationery/School Uniform Receipt: This is to verify the student’s current academic year expenses.
- Application Form: Available on the official Muskaan Scholarship website.

- Proof of Identity:
- Aadhaar card
- Voter ID
- Current Year Admission Proof:
- Fee receipt
- Admission letter
- Institution identity card
- Bonafide certificate
- Signed and Stamped Original Marksheet of Previous Class
- Proof of Parent’s Profession:
- Commercial Driving License of the parent (for drivers)
- Shramik Card
- Confirmation from the employer or self-declaration letter duly attested by the authority
- Family Income Proof:
- Income proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counselor/Sarpanch
- Income proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
- Last three months’ salary slips or Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Bank account details of the applicant
- Photograph: Must be current (not older than 6 months)
Renewal of Scholarship
The scholarship is renewable for existing scholars, subject to the availability of funds. Valvoline Cummins Pvt Ltd will decide whether to renew the scholarship for the next year.
Important Notes
- Discontinuation: If Valvoline Cummins Pvt Ltd discontinues the Muskaan Scholarship Program at any time, students may not receive any further support.
- Selection Criteria: The selection process is based on various factors, including academic performance, financial need, and other relevant criteria.
