JBNSTS Scholarship 2019 – Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) Kolkata – Applications are invited for JUNIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST (JTST) & SENIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST (STST ) for awarding JBNSTS Scholarships 2019.
Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Scholarship is one among the most prestigious scholarship in India awarded in the field of Basic Science (Hons), Engineering and Medicine for the students of West Bengal.
The Scholarship is provided on the basis of a talent search examination by Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), Kolkata which is an Autonomous Registered Society under West Bengal Society Registration Act XXI of 1860.
Important Dates
- Start date of application: 01st June 2019
- Last date of application: 31st July 2019
- Date of exam: 25th August 2019
Eligibility
- Students who have passed 10+2 examination in science category in 2019 and are aspiring to study Basic Sciences/Medicine/Engineering in West Bengal are eligible
- Those who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination in science category before 2019 are not eligible to apply
- Pass course and Diploma course students shall not be eligible
- Final selection of scholar is subject to submission (in the month of September 2019) of their proof of admission in the 1st year UG (Science (H)/ Engg. /Med) course in any institute of West Bengal
How to Apply
Downloadable Forms are Available at www.jbnsts.org or may be obtained by sending self-addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope to JBNSTS, 1300 Rajdanga Main Road, Kolkata-700107 (West Bengal)
For hard copy application, please clearly mention either JTST or STST (as applicable) on the top of the envelope
Read the form carefully before filling up. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Candidate may apply online also through our website www.jbnsts.org
Along with the completely filled in application form, the following documents should be sent to JBNSTS office, 1300 Rajdanga Main Road, Kasba, Kolkata-700107, on or before 31st July 2019
(i) Three recent passport size photographs to be affixed in the boxes provided in the application form
(ii) Photocopy of the original marksheet of H.S. / 12th standard equivalent examination.
(iii) Bank Draft of Rs.200/- (non-refundable) payable at Kolkata in favor of “Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search” as examination fee
(iv ) Self addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs.10/- (envelope size 20 cm x 12 cm) for sending Admit Card
(v) Proof of 1st year admission (if available)
