B.Tech./ BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent qualification with 60% marks (or 6.5 grade point out of 10) and a valid GATE score. O Candidates with M.Tech./ ME/ MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree with 60% marks (or 6.5 grade point out of 10). This is over and top of the eligibility requirements as per rules laid down by the Institute.
