Post-Doctoral Fellowships under the Research Initiative “System of Promoting Appropriate National Dynamism for Agriculture and Nutrition”
Scholarship Details
Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) is inviting qualified candidates for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellows. The Fellows will be part of the research initiative “System of Promoting Appropriate National Dynamism for Agriculture and Nutrition (SPANDAN)”. SPANDAN is supported by a grant from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. A maximum of five fellowships will be offered.
Eligibility
Candidates should have a Ph.D in the appropriate discipline (Agriculture, Demography, Economics, Nutrition, Home Science, or Health). Applicants who have submitted their PhD for review and not yet been awarded their degree can also apply.
Duration
The duration of the fellowship will be for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension of another 6 months.
Scholarship Amount
The fellows will be paid a consolidated sum of Rs 75,000 per month
