Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT) announces PhD Fellowships
Eligibility
=> Candidates should have registered for PhD in any recognized University or Institute. The evidence of PhD registration should be enclosed
=> Candidates holding Postgraduate degree with not less than 55 marks in Literature, Linguistics, or allied disciplines such as Anthropology, Sociology, Education, Archaeology, Epigraphy, Musicology, Performing Arts, Folklore, Philosophy, etc. are eligible to apply
=> Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be given relaxation of 5 marks
=> Age Limit: The candidate should not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 5th September 2015. Age relaxation will be allowed for OBC candidates (3 years) and SC/ST candidates (5 years)
Scholarship Amount
The Doctoral Fellowship includes Rs 12,000/- per month for 2 years with a contingency grant of Rs 12,000/- per annum
