The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is an autonomous organization funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CDFD receives funding also from other agencies on specific collaborative projects.

Eligibility
Applicant should hold a Master’s degree in any branch of Science, Technology or Agriculture or MBBS Degree from a recognised University/ Institute. Those who have not completed their final year/ fourth semester examination are not eligible for RSP-II-.
Applicant should have Qualified CSIR / UGC / DBT / ICMR / INSPIRE NET JRF / UGC-RGNF (or similar) or have qualified BINC examination conducted by the DBT with fellowship or JEST. Those having qualified for the Project-JRF fellowship under the ICMR funded project Scheme/ [which is only for a period of two years] / DBT JRF NET with a B.Tech [Biotechnology] degree/DBT JRF NET under DBT-B category list are not eligible to apply.
Those with LS-NET qualification only in CSIR-UGC (NET) examination need not apply.
How to Apply
Applications can be submitted for the Research Scholars Program-II- online at the ‘Apply Online’ link at http://cdfd.org.in/jrf/Spot_registration.html,
Application Fee will be Rs 500 for General/OBC, Rs 250 for OBC NC and Rs 125 for SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants. The additional Payment Gateway Transaction Charges @ 3.10% will be charged extra from the Candidate.
The Individual Admit Card / Hall Ticket with details of user name, password, venue of the examination and time will be sent through e-mail. No individual intimation letter would be sent. Eligible candidates will be called for Computer based LAN examination to be held at Hyderabd. Those who qualify the LAN based examination will be interviewed . No TA/DA will be paid.

The last date for application is
