Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship (JBNSTS), West Bengal 2018 invites applications from girl students who have passed class 12 in the year 2018 and are currently enrolled in the graduation course. The objective of this scholarship is to encourage and conserve the scientific talent of students studying Basic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.
Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), Kolkata is an Autonomous Registered Society under West Bengal Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 (No.S/4353 of 1960-61). The organisation is promoted by the Government of West Bengal and administered by a Governing Body with representatives from the State Government, Academics and Industry.

Eligibility
- The eligibility criteria for the scholarship are as follows:
- Indian National Girl from West Bengal who has passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent exam in the year of application
- The Girl must have passed 12th class from any Board and studying Basic Science/Medicine/ Engineering in any institute of West Bengal
- Only girls have enrolled in some undergraduate program after 12th class can apply for this scholarship
- Diploma Course students are not eligible, only degree courses students should apply
