The Australian Government offers prestigious international scholarships and fellowships to undertake study, research and professional development The Australia Awards Scholarships are administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research – ACIAR.

Important Dates

Eligibility

• Applicant’s age must be between 22 and 30 years
• Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% Marks. Applicant must have completed a 1 year Diploma in Tourism.
• The Applicant must have a field experience in Tourism which he/she must have done after having acquired a bachelor’s degree in Tourism
• Additionally, the Applicant must be proficient in written and spoken English and must have a fair degree of awareness about Austria.
• The Applicant would have to reside in India for 3 years after he return from abroad
• Applicants who are residing outside the country at the time of making the application are not eligible for the scholarship.

How to Apply

• Research Subjects: Applications with two letters of referral from Professors of University /College attended along with attested copies of educational documents must be sent within the fixed date. Applicants who are already in employment must send their applications through their employers
  • Tourism Management : Application on plain paper (in duplicate) with an employer’s referral must be sent within the fixed date.   
  • Minerology : Applications in duplicate through the employer must be sent within the fixed date, accompanied by a
  • no-objection certificate and guarantee of re-employment
  • Two letters of referral
  • Attested copies of all educational documents
  • Secondary School Certificate duly translated in German.
