AICTE PG Scholarships Scheme 2021 for GATE, GPAT Qualified Candidates

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited online applications for the postgraduate scholarship for academic session 2021-22

Scholarship Details

  • AICTE in order to ensure development of technical education in India awards Post Graduate Scholarship of Rs. 12,400/- per month to full-time GATE/GPAT qualified students admitted to AICTE approved post graduate programs in AICTE approved Institutions/ University Departments.

Duration: The Scholarship is tenable for 24 months

Important Dates

  • The application deadline is 31st December 2020
  • Institutions shall complete the procedure of student data verification on or before 31st December 2020

Eligibility

1. To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must have passed the GATE/GPAT exam.

2. The candidate must not be enrolled in any online part-time courses.

3. An applicant’s bank account information must also match the applicant’s initial credentials.

4. To be eligible for the award, the candidate must not have any shared bank accounts.

5. The applicant must have a general savings account with one of the participating institutions.

6. A candidate must be pursuing a degree in engineering, architecture, or pharmacy.

7. After passing the GATE/GPAT, the applicant must be admitted to the college.

8. Students from the OBC group are not eligible for the scholarship.

SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Physically Handicapped candidates who do not have legitimate certificates are not eligible for GATE/GPAT scholarships. When the post-graduation classes commence, a scholarship will be offered.

The GATE/GPAT scholarship will be paid out for a maximum of 24 months, or until the courses are completed or the thesis is submitted, whichever comes first. AICTE PG Scholarship Scheme 2021 Documents Required Helpline Number.

How to Apply

The following is a step-by-step approach for putting the scholarship scheme into action: –

1. First and foremost, candidates must pass the GATE examination.

2. The applicant will next be required to complete the scheme’s application form.

3. The institution will then approve the examination score.

4. Each applicant’s information will be kept in a separate file.

5. The institution will do the verification.

6. The institution will decide on whether to accept or reject the application.

7. Applications that have been approved will be forwarded to the PFMS portal.

8. The PFMS site will then credit the funds to the beneficiaries bank accounts
