Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal invites applications for admissions to MD MS Diploma Courses for the academic year 2016 - 17.

MD MS Diploma Courses is conducted by Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsored Category:
=> The candidate must be an Indian National, hold MBBS degree from a Medical College/Institute recognized by MCI and has obtained permanent registration from MCI or any State Medical Councils In the nomination letter, any directive/option of subject preference mentioned against the names of candidates will not be entertained as the allotment of seats will be strictly in order of merit of the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE)

Eligibility Criteria for Open Category:
=> The candidate must be an Indian National, hold MBBS degree from Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal and has obtained permanent registration from MCI or any State Medical Councils A candidate who is completing 12-months compulsory rotatory internship on or before 31st March 2016 and supported by certificate from the Head of the Institute, can appear in the Counselling for admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses

Eligibility Criteria for Non-RIMS Category:
=> The candidate must be an Indian National, hold MBBS degree from Recognized Medical Institutions except RIMS, Imphal and has obtained permanent registration from MCI or any State Medical Councils No candidate who has already obtained an MD/MS Degree is eligible to apply

Application Procedure:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> Application forms in prescribed format and duly forwarded by the competent authority of the beneficiary states for sponsored, RIMS open category and on RIMS category of seats in RIMS are to be submitted to the office of the Director, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal (Manipur)

=> The application should accompany a Demand Draft of Rs.1500/- for all category candidates from any nationalised bank of India (except UBI, RIMS Branch) drawn in favour of Director, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal payable at Imphal

=> The application form can be obtained from the Academic Section, RIMS, Imphal on payment of Rs.200/-

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) was established on 14 September 1972 in the name of the Regional Medical College. It is situated in a picturesque locality at Lamphelpat in Manipur, India. The objective of this premier institute is to impart quality medical education and ameliorate the health condition of the seven states of North Eastern Region including Sikkim.
