The college was established by some enthusiastic social workers of the Hindaun City. Consequently a educational samiti naming Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Smriti Shiksha Prasar Samiti Was registered in the year 1968 on 19th April and the same year the samiti applied for B.Ed. Course on 5th August 1968 to the Rajasthan University & this college naming Nehru College of Education came in existence.
