Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped, New Delhi invites applications for admissions to BPT, BOT & BPO for the academic year 2016- 17.

BPT, BOT & BPO is conducted by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute, New Delhi.

Courses Offered:

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
BPO (Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics)
BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy)

Duration:

Duration: 4 ½ years

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry Biology and English (PCBE), provided the candidate pass each subject separately

BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy)
Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, biology and English (PCBE), provided the candidates pass each subject separately.

BPO (Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics)
Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics & English (PCBE/PCME), provided the candidate pass each subject separately

Eligibility Qualification:
- SSC examination of CBSC or equivalent (10+2) with 50% or more marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC and CWAPP category in the aggregate of four subjects; PCBE for BPT/BOT and PCBE/PCME for BPO, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately
The candidates appearing/appeared in the 10+2 examination may also apply. However, it is subjected to their clearance of qualifying exam with a required percentage of marks before declaration of result of entrance test

- The candidates who have passed their 10+2 exam before the year 2013-2014 and have discontinued their regular studies for more than 3 years are not eligible to appear in the entrance test

- Age (as on 01st December 2016): Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years of age for General category, 28 years of age in case of SC/ST/PH category

Application Procedure:

- Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained by depositing a pay order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped payable at New Delhi

- However, such downloaded application forms should be submitted along with a Bank Draft of Rs.1000/- for General Category/OBC and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH Candidates Prospectus will be available on sale counter in Accounts Section of Institute between 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. on all working days

For General /CWAPP/OBC - Rs.1000/- (Institute counter-by hand), Rs 1050/- (by post)
