After the introduction of NEET !year, the admission to MBBS / BDS courses in Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences will be granted on the basis of NEET !year Score. Application for PIMS MBBS / BDS Admission !year is & available here.
PIMS MBBS / BDS Admission !year to undergraduate courses in Medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) for the academic year !year in constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the AIPMT-!year/NEET- I which was conducted on conducted on 24 July !year.
Admission Process
– Admission to all MBBS & BDS program will be on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by PIMS University.
– Admissions to all courses offered by University is steered by Admission Committee consisting of experienced persons .
The Admission Committee is responsible for the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of results and merit list, counselling and final admission to the courses.
The AICET (All India Entrance) is conducted at various places in India for selection of candidates for admission to various courses offered by the constituent colleges of PIMS University.
Counselling
PIMS MBBS & BDS Counselling !year
All Students having PIMS-DU merit number from 1 to 2500 are called for counseling at 9 AM as per following time table for admission to MBBS/BDS
As per the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government on !year. Admission to undergraduate courses in Medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) for the academic year !year in constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University) will be done on the basis of marks obtained in The AIPMT-!year.
All Students having PIMS-DU merit number from 1 to 2500 are called for counselling at 9 AM as per following timetable for admission to MBBS/BDS

You will have to remain physically present yourself on the day and time of counselling along with the required Original Certificates and Demand Draft for payment of full fees as mentioned under clause Tuition Fees of the prospectus.
NEET percentile and All India Rank mentioned in your form will be verified during counselling. In the case of variation , your PIMS-DU merit number will be revised as per your merit.
DOCUMENTS
You or your authorized representative shall have to produce following Original Documents along with two attested sets of their photocopies. In case you have already submitted Original Documents to some other institute, you should bring a certificate from Head of the Institution to that effect.

- Nationality Certificate / Valid passport / Domicile Certificate
- Certificate of Birth / Age (S.S.C. Passing Certificate / Valid Passport)
- S.S.C. / Equivalent Statement of Marks and Certificate.
- H.S.C. / Equivalent Statement of Marks and Certificate.
- Bonafide and Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
- Gap Certificate (if passed 10+2 in or before 2014)
- Medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
- Caste validity certificate (by candidates belonging to all Backward class)
- Passport (In case of Foreign National/ Wards of person of Indian origin /Wards of NRI)
- Migration certificate
- Six passport size colour photographs
- Leaving / Transfer Certificate
- Photo identity proof (School identity card / driving licence etc.)
- AIU (Association of Indian Universities) Equivalence certificate (if studied under foreign system in India)
Payment Of Fees
If you are found eligible and offered admission to a course, you will have to pay a full tuition fee as mentioned under clause Tuition Fees of the prospectus by Demand Draft drawn on Nationalized bank in favour of PRAVARA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, Loni drawn on the bank as indicated below.

For convenience, the candidate is advised to bring two separate demand draft of Rs. 4,17,000/- and Rs. 4,33,000/-. i.e. a total of Rs. 8,50,000.00.
You will have to pay the full amount of fees for the course to which you are offered admission, failing which the admission offered to you will be treated as cancelled and no claim of admission will be retained. The request for an extension of time limit for payment or to accept partial payment will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Hostel Fee, Hostel Deposit and Mess Deposit can be paid in cash on confirmation of admission.

General Category:
– 85 % seats of each course are in this category. The admission to this category will be made on the basis of interse- merit of the candidates at AICET .
FN (Foreign Nationals) / PIO(Persons of Indian Origin) / NRI(Non-Resident Indians) Category:
– 15 % seats of each course are allocated in this category.

General Category :
– 50 % seats of each course are in this category. The admission to this category is made on the basis of interse- merit of the candidates at AICET .
Management Category :
– 50 % seats of each course are allocated in this category. The admission to this category is also made on the basis of interest- the merit of the candidates at AICET.

Duration
MBBS duration is Four and half years degree course with a compulsory one-year rotatory internship.
BDS duration is Five years degree course.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for M.B.B.S/BDS Program given below:
– Candidate must be Indian National.
– The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of Nationality.
– Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) examination with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
– Candidate belonging to general category must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC ( or equivalent) examination.
– Candidate belonging to backwards classes must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination.
– Candidate should be either of 17 years of age on or attain this age as on 31st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.
– The candidates who are appearing for qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) in February/March of the respective academic year are eligible to appear for the entrance examination, however, they must fulfil the eligibility condition at the time of counselling.
– Candidate belonging to the general category should obtain minimum 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.
– Candidate belonging to backwards classes should obtain minimum 40% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.

The University does not charge capitation fee or any hidden fee
* The tuition fee for M.B.B.S course shall be increased by 15% and tuition fee for B.D.S.course shall be increased by 10% of the existing fees for the remaining period of the course from the Academic year !year.
Merit List
– The merit list has been prepared to indicate hall ticket number, name, All India rank, PIMS-DU Merit number and percentile of marks scored by the candidate.
– A combined merit list is prepared for MBBS and BDS.
– The Merit List has been displayed as per schedule on the official website of the PIMS University
Results

Selection Procedure
– Candidates belonging to general category who secure the minimum of marks at 50 percentile in AIPMT-!year/NEET- I or NEET-II. and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils will be eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS Courses.
– Candidates belonging to backwards classes (SC/ST/NT & OBC) who secure the minimum of marks at 40 percentile in AIPMT-!year/NEET- I or NEET-II.and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils will be eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS Courses.
– The admission to MBBS / BDS Courses will be offered only on the basis of merit of candidates reported for counselling. There is no reservation for backwards class (SC/ST/NT & OBC).
