Visvesvaraya Technological University, also spelt Visveswaraiah Technological University, (VTU), is one of the top ranked technological universities in Karnataka, India[citation needed]. Located on two pictueresque campuses in Belgaum and Muddenahalli, VTU is one of the biggest Technological University in India, having 144 colleges affiliated to it with under graduate course in 27 disciplines and PG Programs in 66 disciplines. The intake at UG level is about 45000 students and at the PG level it is about 7500 students.
