Admission to the PG Course is made from the Merit prepared on the basis of a NIA Joint PG Entrance Test of Objective Type conducted by NIA and IPGTRA for which Notification is made on all India basis in leading National Dailies and also on the Websites of National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur and Institute for Post Graduate Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (IPGTRA) . The Notification is normally issued in March-April.

The Government of Maharashtra has established "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" as per the provisions of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutes (Regulation of Admission & Fees) Act.2015, (hereinafter the act). The Commissioner of State CET Cell has been designated as Competent Authority for conducting Maharashtra PGA-CET and selection of candidates for admission to all courses for the year.
