NMIMS University (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management and Higher Studies) is a private university located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Established in 1981 by the parent body Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, this institute commenced its activities to meet the growing demand for young professionals in varied field. The university hopes to contribute to strengthening the corporate foundation by imparting training in the latest techniques and know-how.

Accredited and awarded "Five Star" rating and "A" grade by the NAAC and the UGC, NMIMS has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certification by ICL in 2004. This university also got the "Deemed University" status in 2003.
