NIMHANS Bangalore invites applications for B.Sc & M.Sc Programs Admission 2016

National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore invites applications for admissions to B.Sc & M.Sc Programs for the academic year 2016- 17.

B.Sc & M.Sc Programs is conducted by National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
B.Sc Nursing Program:
Candidates should have pass in:
- Pre-University examination conducted by the department of Pre-University Or
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) Or
- Senior School Certificate Examination, pre-degree examination (10+2) Or
- An equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized board or university

B.Sc Radiography Program:
Candidates should have pass in:
- Pre-University examination conducted by the department of Pre-University Or
- An equivalent examination recognized by the NIMHANS, Bangalore Or Job Oriented Diploma course from a recognized board Radiography as vocational subject or equivalent

M.Sc Program:
- Candidates should be a Registered Nurse & Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council with minimum passing of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an institute recognized by INC with minimum of one year experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

The application fee is Rs.1500/- per course for general candidates and Rs.1000/- per program for SC/ST candidates for M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing program. The application fee is Rs.1000/- per course for general candidates and Rs.750/- per course for SC/ST candidates for all other programs.
