{"id":1538,"date":"2021-06-15T11:43:00","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T11:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indcareer.com\/news\/?p=1538"},"modified":"2021-06-16T11:45:26","modified_gmt":"2021-06-16T11:45:26","slug":"amu-to-work-with-50-percent-office-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.indcareer.com\/news\/amu-to-work-with-50-percent-office-staff\/","title":{"rendered":"AMU To Work With 50 Percent Office Staff"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Aligarh, June 15:\u00a0<\/strong>In accordance with the new Government guidelines, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indcareer.com\/aligarh-muslim-university-aligarh\">Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)<\/a> will function with 50 percent staff in its various offices from June 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A notice of the Office of Registrar, AMU stated that the offices shall remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays and the employees who are not scheduled to attend offices on weekdays will be working from home, making themselves available through phone and electronic means of communication at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The notice further stated that all heads of the departments\/offices of the university are requested to depute minimum staff to facilitate the teachers, who want to avail the facility of the department for examination purposes. Teachers will continue the online classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHowever, the essential services including medical services, sanitation, electricity, water supply, residential hall services, Central Automobile Workshop, Telephone Department, Proctor\u2019s Office and Computer Centre, will continue to work as per the direction of the heads of the concerned department or office\u201d, stated the notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The university staff has been urged to strictly maintain the Covid appropriate behaviour by regularly sanitising hands and frequent handwashing with soap. AMU staff has also been urged to maintain physical distance and to compulsorily wear masks. As per the university rules, employees willing to travel out of Aligarh can only do so, if there are granted leaves from the competent authorities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCrowding in lifts, staircases, corridors, and other common areas such as refreshment kiosks and parking lots should be avoided.
