Aligarh, June 22: A national webinar on ‘National Education Policy 2020 and Minority Education’ of the Centre for Promotion of Educational and Cultural Advancement of Muslims in India (CEPECAMI), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be held on June 24.

AMU Vice Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor will preside over the programme, which will have Mr Atif Rasheed (Chairman, National Commission for Minorities) as the Chief-Guest.

“Prof S K Singh (Former Vice Chancellor, Garhwal University, Ex-Dean, Faculty of Science, AMU), Father Sunny Jacob SJ (Principal, Loyola School, Baripada and Secy. Jesuit Educational Association South Asia), Mr PA Inamdar (President, Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society), Mr Zafar Mahmood (President, Zakat Foundation of India and Secy. Sachchar Committee), Prof Furqan Qamar (Ex Vice Chancellor, University of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, Ex. Secretary AIU) and Prof Asmer Beg (Department of Political Science, AMU) are the speakers for the webinar”, said Mr Naseem Ahmad Khan, Director, CEPECAMI and Organising Chairman of the programme.

Dr Bachchan Ali Khan and Dr Raihan Akhtar Qasmi are the Co-Chairman and Programme Convener respectively.
