KIIT Robotics Society (KRS) conducted its first-ever virtual exhibition “Pradarshana 1.0” on 30th January 2022. It was one of the biggest events conducted by KRS to showcase the amazing projects built by the members of the society as well as by the students of KRS classes 2021. The exhibition was held under the supervision of Dr. N. K. Rout, Professor & Director, Student Research Cell.
The inaugural session was addressed by Dr. Vimal Kumar Shrivastava, Faculty Coordinator, KRS; Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Deputy Director-SS; and Prof. (Dr.) Suprava Patnaik, Dean, School of Electronics Engineering. Rohit Mundhra, Somya Joyti Mondal, Malvika Madan and Maddhuja Sen from KRS provided a brief introduction of the exhibition, while Vandana Shekhar, Student Coordinator, KRS proposed the vote of thanks.
As many as 110 students from different domains such as Robotics, Embedded, IoT, Web Development, and Machine Learning showcased their projects. Every presentation was followed by a Q&A session to make the exhibition more informative. The event also featured alumni talks by former members of KRS – Mr. Uditnarayan Mandal from Wipro; Mr. Sandipan Chakraborty from Radisys India; Mr. Abhishek Dhar from iLogitron Technologies; and Mr. Arijit Dutta from High Radius Corporation.
The best performers of the KRS classes were honored with a certificate of achievement as well as with a certificate of excellence announced by Asma Mohiuddin from KRS. The students who received certificates of achievement were welcomed to join KIIT Robotics Society. The closing note was given by Sayanti Maity from KRS. More than 450 students participated in Pradarshana 1.0 and registered for the event.
