Prof. S G Kulkarni passes away |
Prof. S G Kulkarni who retired from the Department of Philosophy, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has passed away today i.e. on 15-03-2022.
Prof. S G Kulkarni
S.G. Kulkarni was a Professor of Philosophy at UoH, where he taught since 1980, and retired in the year 2015. He obtained his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. His area of specialization includes Philosophy of Science and in particular the Problem of Realism. His research areas were Metaphysics and Social and Political Philosophy, as well as Modern Indian Thought. He also served as the Chief Warden of the university.
The University of Hyderabad expresses its deepest sorrow at the demise of Prof Kulkarni.
It extends its deepest condolences to the family members.
May God give strength to the family of the departed soul and to cope up with this irreplaceable loss.
