The University of Hyderabad is partnering in an EU supported project HARMONY [Strategies for internationalization in Higher Education and Borderless Cooperation between European and Asian Countries]. A conference was organized at the University of Danang, Vietnam one of the partnering Universities of the project from 3-4th November, 2022.
Apart from the dignitaries of Danang University, other members who delivered talks included Prof. Rafael de Miguel Gonzalez, University of Zaragoza, Spain, Prof. Laurent Sermet, Francophone University Association, AUF) in Asia-Pacific. The topics covered by various speakers involved Internationalization of Higher Education, Joint Degrees as outstanding initiatives for curriculum internationalization, Internationalization policies and practices. Christina Armutlieva spoke on FRIENDS Teahouses operation and digital storytelling Workshop. Dr. Sharad Mhauskar, Pro Vice Chancellor NMIMS University Mumbai spoke on the NMIMS knowledge creation agenda through internationalization.
Prof. Nadimpalli Siva Kumar, Dean School of Life Sciences from the University of Hyderabad spoke on the Internationalization journey at the University of Hyderabad for the last 25 years and gave an update on the different activities of the HARMONY project at the UoH.
