National Webinar On ‘Role Of Youth In Nation Building’

Aligarh, July 5: The Department of Hindi, Aligarh Muslim University will organise a one day national webinar on the ‘Role of youth in nation building’ on July 7, 2021 at 10:30 am.

The theme and concept of the webinar are based on the views and suggestions expressed by the honourable President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind in a meeting and gathering of the Vice – Chancellors of Central Universities.

In his address the President pointed out that the institutions of higher learning should take initiatives to motivate students to visit our cultural heritage and memorials of national importance. He also suggested that universities and colleges should motivate youths to play their active role in nation-building. The proposed webinar reflects the feelings and views of the honourable President regarding the youths who are the major part of our society.

Prof Shambhunaath Tiwari, Convenor of the webinar informed that Professor Anil Rai, Professor, Department of Hindi, University of Delhi will attend the webinar as Chief Guest, while Professor Harishankar Mishra of the University of Lucknow will be the keynote speaker.

He further told, Professor Arif Nazir and Professor Abdul Alim, Professors of the Department of Hindi, AMU will be the guests of honour. The webinar will be presided over by Professor Ramesh Chandra, Chairman, Department of Hindi, AMU.
