KIIT School Of Computer Applications Organizes Alumni Talk Series

KIIT School of Computer Applications organized their first alumni talk under the “Alumni Talk Series” on 5th July 2021. The welcome note was given by Prof. V. Goswami, Director of the School and Prof. J. R Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU. The talk was delivered by Mr. Ranjan Kumar, presently working as Vice President, Digital Banking, Siam Commercial Bank, Thailand.  He belongs to the MCA 2010 pass out batch from School of Computer Applications. Prof. Sadhana Sudershana, Faculty, School of Computer Applications introduced the guest and facilitated the event.

The topic of Mr. Kumar’s talk was “Digital Transformation and Importance of Business Data Analytics”. During the hour-long talk, he reminisced about his college days, shared some nostalgic moments and described his journey of success. He encouraged the students and wished them success in any field of their choice. Interacting with the students, he told students to learn various skills through online platforms during the pandemic, an opportunity for higher goal achievements. His talk was filled with practical knowledge on “Digitization and Business Data Analysis”.

The talk was followed by a question and answer session among the students, alumni, faculties and Mr. Kumar on the recent trends in Information Technology in the current scenario. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. C. Misra, School of Computer Applications.
