IIT Delhi Launches Innovative Certificate Programme in Design Thinking and Innovation

IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP) presents the sixth edition of its certificate programme in Design Thinking and Innovation. This transformative initiative invites interested and eligible candidates to apply through the official website—iitd.emeritus.org—until September 13.
Unlocking a 20-Week Journey
Commencing on December 28, this comprehensive 20-week course is tailored to be an online learning experience. Boasting a rich curriculum, participants can expect over 150 recorded video lectures, more than 15 engaging assignments, a collection of 10+ short quizzes, two weekly faculty-led office hours, three dynamic live webinars, and a culminating capstone project.
The Program’s Spectrum
This carefully curated programme caters to a diverse array of professionals, including designers, design engineers, creative managers, art directors, UX designers, entrepreneurs, growth consultants, product managers, marketing and branding managers, R&D managers, rural entrepreneurs, and individuals from small and medium enterprises.
Aspiring Minds, Eligibility, and Curriculum
Candidates seeking to embark on this transformative journey should possess a graduate degree (10+2+3) or a diploma (10+2+3) from a recognized university in any discipline. A minimum of 50 per cent marks and at least one year of work experience are required to apply.
The programme comprises 14 comprehensive modules that encompass essential topics such as human-centered design, innovation strategies, integrating design and technology, and fostering change through design leadership.
Nurturing Excellence and Recognition
Upon successful completion of the course, participants who score a minimum of 60 per cent marks across all evaluation components and complete the capstone project will be awarded a prestigious completion certificate from IIT Delhi. Participants who secure less than 60 per cent or are unable to complete the project will receive a participation certificate, acknowledging their dedicated commitment.
