Talking about how competitions help shape good talent, Chef Patrick Albert, Head Faculty Chef at Kamaxi College of Culinary Arts shared, “Goa churns out exceptional chefs year after year and holds a special place on the world map when it comes to culturally rich and talented chefs. In the nascent years of the college itself we have been forefront runners in inter-collegiate competitions and have been claiming the winners place in various other state level cook offs. Here at Kamaxi College, we try to train the students to match the international standards and such competitions give them great exposure and allow them to interact with established chefs along with other aspirant chefs and have a good exchange of thoughts and cultures.”

After winning the prestigious awards at multiple culinary competitions, Rahul Mulye, student at KCCA shared, “It was a great pleasure competing at these competitions and representing my college. We are given a lot of such opportunities to showcase our abilities which we students are very grateful for. At Kamaxi College of Culinary Arts, I got the chance to intern, compete and learn various skills which gives us a winning edge compared to other students.”

Kamaxi College of Culinary Arts offers a 3 year degree program in culinary management. The institute, in its second academic year, is winning over culinary competitions statewide. The college is organising in-house competitions as well where students from across the state can showcase their talent and get a chance to compete with different colleges.
