Andhra University (AU) has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first public university in Andhra Pradesh to gain approval for offering 11 online academic programs, including coveted courses such as MBA and MCA. This notable achievement was announced by the Director of Andhra University School of Distance Education (AUSDE).

Now, the pursuit of higher education, particularly in fields like Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), has been made convenient for working professionals and individuals interested in the business sector. The AUSDE has recently received the prestigious approval from the University Grants Commission – Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB) to initiate these 11 online programs, commencing from the academic year 2023-24. Among the programs offered, the flagship MBA and MCA courses stand out prominently.

In addition to MBA and MCA, the array of programs encompass M. Com, M. Sc (Psychology), M.A (Political Science), M.A. (Human Resource Management), M.A (Journalism and Mass Communication), M.A (Economics), M.A. (English), B.A. (History, Economics, Politics), and B. Com.

Officials from AUSDE highlighted that these online master’s programs are meticulously designed to cater to professionals aspiring to become adept strategic, innovative, marketing, and business leaders in today’s digitally-driven and data-intensive world.
