Dr. Javid Ali, a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), embarked on a productive academic journey to Serbia. This visit was made possible through financial support from the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) and the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.
During his stay in Serbia, Dr. Ali actively participated in the International Mathematical Conference on “Analysis, Approximation, and Applications” held at Vrnjačka Banja, organized by the University of Kragujevac. He contributed to the conference by delivering a lecture on the topic of “Fixed Point Algorithms: Convergence, Stability, and Data Dependence Results.”
In addition to his conference involvement, Dr. Ali seized the opportunity to establish collaborative research connections. He met with Prof. Cemal Dolicanin from the State University of Novi Pazar and Prof. Vesna Velickovic from the University of Nis, both distinguished academic institutions in Serbia. These meetings were aimed at fostering research collaborations and knowledge exchange.
Dr. Ali also engaged with prominent researchers, including Prof. Vladimir Rakocevic and Prof. Eberhard Malkowski, at the University of Nis. These interactions provided a platform for discussing and exploring various research problems.
Furthermore, the State University of Novi Pazar and the University of Nis extended their warm hospitality to Dr. Ali during his visit.
This academic exchange not only enhances the global reach of Aligarh Muslim University but also contributes to the exchange of knowledge and research ideas between India and Serbia. It reflects the commitment of scholars like Dr. Javid Ali to advancing academic collaboration on an international scale.
