Scotland University opens campus in Greater Noida, India

Strathclyde University opens its first campus in Greater Noida, India. Education Secretary Michael Russell officially launched the new campus. The campus is being developed by Strathclyde's business school and infrastructure company SKIL. Strathclyde business school will provide education in Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Master level courses.

The new link will strengthen the educational ties between Scotland and India. The new campus will start Bachelors in Business Studies courses from the year 2012 and masters in the year 2013. The courses are designed according to the need of the Indian audience and involve experts from both India and UK.

    Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay has placed 60% of students in first phase of campus selection this month. The number of global companies visiting the campus has doubled. Placed students were from B Tech, M tech and PHD. Second round of placement will start from the month of January 2012. Companies visiting the campus are from Taiwan, Japan and Singapore.
