New question pattern to be introduced in the Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has formed a committee to bring changes in the pattern of Civil Services exam. The exam will be to test aptitude skills of appearing candidates along with their knowledge. This step will improve the quality of selected students.

UPSC wants to make changes in the main civil services examination as well as other examination.

    Shena Aggarwal, who holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here, has topped the UPSC Civil Services examination. Shena Aggarwal is from Delhi. Rukmini Riar secured second place. Prince Dhawan came third. Prince Dhawan has completed Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2011 was conducted on June 12. As many as 4,72,290 candidates applied for this examination, out of which 2,43,003 wrote the test.

  • IIT entrance examination going online ?

    After CAT it is the turn of IIT's to go online for conducting Joint Entrance Examination. They are yet to check the feasibility of the online test. IIT Delhi has invited all IIT directors to attend a workshop where the online model will be demonstrated.
