IIM's breaking the tradition and going beyond Business Management

Updated on Mon, 12 December 2011 at 18:12 IST

Very few want to trod a different path and leave a trail behind, similar is the case with IIM's. They have decided to go beyond Finance and Business Management in to new courses in the areas of energy management, academic institution management, health management, agriculture management etc. To fill all vacant seats they will publicize their specific admission criterion on the website and send information to the students. IIM's are also interested in attracting offshore candidates to have diverse pool of students in the campus.

Indira Gandhi Open University ( IGNOU ) has post graduation courses in the field of agriculture, education, plantation management etc.

It is a great move by IIM's and is sure to receive a positive response from all quarters. Now students can study diverse courses in India without enrolling in foreign universities overseas.
