National Brain Research Centre Invites Applications for Ph.D Neuroscience Program 2016

National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Gurgaon invites applications for admissions to Ph.D. Neuroscience for the academic year 2015 - 16.

Ph.D. Neuroscience is conducted by National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Gurgaon.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidates should have a master's degree or equivalent in any branch of science such as Life Sciences/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer applications/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Science/ Psychology from a recognized institute/ university or a minimum of four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine from a recognized institute/ university.

=> Candidates appearing for final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

=> Candidates with at least 55% (50% for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) marks or equivalent grade or grade point average from secondary (10th) examination onwards will be considered. Candidates should calculate their percentage up to two decimal points to determine their eligibility.

=> Candidates who wish to apply by offline mode need to obtain an application form from NBRC. In order to obtain the application form, send a self-addressed A-4 size envelope affixed with 22/- postage stamps to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122051 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana). The last date for receipt of requests for a hard copy of the application form is 15th February 2016.

=> Offline applicants can submit the application fee by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, National brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar. Send the Demand Draft and complete application form to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122051 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana). Please write your name and course applied for on the back of Demand Draft. JGEEBILS/JEST candidates should write their Reference Code/ Unique ID No. also on the back of Demand Draft. GATE/External Fellowship Channel candidates should write their GATE Roll Number/Fellowship award letter Number, the year of examination and its validity period on the back of the Demand Draft.

  • Online registration starts: 30th September, 2015
  • Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 31st March, 2016
  • Last date of receipt of requests for hard copy of application form : 15th February, 2016
  • No request for hard copy of the application form will be entertained: 15th February 2016
