About PGD in Artificial Intelligence for Climate Action
- The PG Diploma program in Artificial Intelligence for Climate Action will prepare students to undertake research and action needed for achieving goal number 13 i.e. climate action. While the program has direct focus on goal number 03, it also indirectly incorporates several other goals. It is offered to fresh graduates as well as working professionals interested in developing their research skills. The program is a unique blend of applied and basic sciences and calls for action on climate change. The program would be a flagship program of MIT-WPU, highlighting the commitment of educational institutions towards localizing sustainable development goals. The program will be 11-month long diploma which any post-graduate can take up. The program will be divided into three trimesters following the MIT-WPU wide system. The students will be encouraged to work on in-house projects and provided opportunities to intern with industry and communities.
