About B.Tech
According to the latest statistics, there are 1.5 million engineers in India and the number is expected to grow. In spite of having an engineering degree, not all of these students have stable jobs. To differentiate our students from the rest, MIT-WPU offers a B. Tech programme that equips students with confidence that comes from a curriculum that includes impartment of technical and soft skills required in corporate world.
During this four-year programme, students can become an expert in the fields of Mechanical, Robotics & Automation, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, Bioengineering and Communications, Petroleum, Civil, Computer Science and Polymer Engineering – all of which are evergreen and/or in high-demand fields. In addition to this, we have now added some mandatory courses across all the disciplines so that students can acquire minimum working skills current as per the market demands. These courses include C/C++, Python Programming, Linux Operating System, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things, and Data Science.
To inculcate industry-relevant skillsets through their BTech programs, the MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering & Technology is also introducing the option to opt for a minor in Computer Engineering along with pursuing their major in their chosen BTech specialization. This will further bridge the gap between industry and academia and eligible students will gain an edge over their peers and will graduate with expertise in two different disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed XII std with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects, with min 50% marks in PCM group (45% for reserved category candidates)
For Bioengineering Program:
- Candidates must have passed XII std with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one of the subjects – Biology, mathematics, Technical vocational subjects, IT, Computer science, and Agriculture. MHTCET with PCB & NEET score required.
Fee Structure
Rs. 3,10,000 – Total Fees Per Year
- 1st Installment : Rs.1,50,000/- as “Seat Acceptance fee” at the time of enrollment as a student on the same day of the allotment of seat for the academic year.
- 2nd Installment : remaining amount.
Selection Process
Inter-Se-Merit based on score in MHT-CET.
OR
● Inter-Se-Merit based on score in JEE (Main) for seeking admission in All India Quota
AND
● MIT WPU-MEET For Admission on the basis of MIT WPU-MEET, candidate should clear any one of competitive examination conducted by state of national level agencies like JEE or MHTCET or PERA-CET with non-zero score.
